The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is a part of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, and supports research designed to improve the outcomes and quality of healthcare, reduce its costs, address patient safety and medical errors, and broaden access to effective services.
Bipartisan Policy Center
The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) drives principled solutions through rigorous analysis, reasoned negotiation, and respectful dialogue. Founded in 2007 by former Senate Majority Leaders Howard Baker, Tom Daschle, Bob Dole and George Mitchell, BPC combines politically-balanced policymaking with strong, proactive advocacy and outreach.
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services - EHR Incentive Programs
The Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs has responsibility for administering incentive payments to eligible professionals (EPs), eligible hospitals (EHs), and critical access hospitals (CAHs) as they adopt, implement, upgrade or demonstrate meaningful use of certified EHR technology.
Certified HIT Product List
The Certified HIT Product List (CHPL) provides the authoritative, comprehensive listing of Complete EHRs and EHR Modules that have been tested and certified under the Temporary Certification Program maintained by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC). Each Complete EHR and EHR Module listed below has been certified by an ONC-Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) and reported to ONC. Only the product versions that are included on the CHPL are certified under the ONC Temporary Certification Program.
eCQI Resource Center
The eCQI Resource Center is a central source of information on federal electronic clinical quality improvement initiatives, including electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) and the tools used to support their development, testing, and reporting. It was developed in response to requests from stakeholders for a “one-stop-shop” with the latest federal eCQI resources, information, standards, and tools.

Office of the National Coordinator
The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) not only coordinates a variety of programs to implement HITECH but also supports the efforts of several related initiatives to facilitate nationwide adoption of health IT. Through working with these initiatives, ONC is able to reach diverse stakeholder groups that are imperative to the success of the HITECH Act.
